Human Rights as an Organizing Strategy: Human rights isn't
just documents and the UN. It's a history of organizing to end racial
discrimination and colonialism. This workshop shows how to tap into that
history.
All Power to the People: Community Organizing
Approaches: The goals of the workshop are to define the difference
between different types of community action, and to define direct action
organizing.
Outreach Methods: Separate workshops on
classic outreach methods including Setting up a canvas, 1 on 1 visits,
and house visits.
