This is a collection of handouts, exercises, and other tools that I have used or stolen. I wholeheartedly believe in using a good idea so feel free to take what you need. Proper credit is given and expected.

FUNDRAISING

8 Ways to Raise $2500
53 Ways to Raise $1000
10 Things to Know About Fundraising: All of these are taken from the Grassroots Fundraising Journal. I highly recommend looking into the publication if you already haven't.

Fundraising Notes: These are some general notes on fundraising I wrote up for Amnesty International groups. I no longer have the source page, but it safe to assume many of the ideas come from Kim Klein.

CAMPAIGN STRATEGY

AGENDA Power Map: (PowerPoint file) This is kind of like the strategy chart, but it provides a way to measure the power levels of different players in the community.  Done by AGENDA/SCOPE.

Climbing Strategy Mountain Agenda: Taken from a workshop for the Agnes Scott Living Wage Campaign, this agenda shows how to go through a modified version of the Midwest Academy Strategy Chart.

Fairness for Prisoners' Families Issue Checklist: A group of us developed this for Fairness. It's one of the better issue checklists I've seen.

Midwest Academy Strategy Chart: A classic brainstorm exercise for coming up with lists of targets, allies, opponents, and tactics for your campaign.

One on One Worksheets: A good review of why and how to do 1:1 in the community.

Organizing for Justice Agenda: Done for the Project South Board, this agenda is a primer for what is organizing.

Organizing Definitions: I pulled this list together from various Internet sources, but what I was looking for were common ways individuals and organizations define certain organizing concepts. I used it with the Organizing for Justice agenda.
